This development of 4 townhouses close to Chatswood’s CBD each 3 levels also sat over a communal basement. All levels were built with traditional construction of re-enforced concrete slabs and full brick on a block basement with concrete columns.
The load required deep piles up to 7 metres deep below the excavated basement level ensuring the face brick cladding is protected from long term cracking. Careful programming and co-ordination was planned as access to houses and rooms declined quickly.
4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms each along made up each house. The result achieved a timeless traditionally styled development.
